Phew... this project has taken way too long! But atleast I got it done before the end of the summer! I decided that I should go and add English subtitles to the first Maple Town movie. Since this is the only piece of Maple Town animation that has never been released outside Japan, it was the logical choice for a subbing project. The Raw is taken from my own old VHS copy, so neither video or sound are of particulary good quality. It will have to do until a better copy can be acquired. I did everything myself. Video transfer, translation, timing and typesetting. I worked hard on getting the translation as good as possible, which is what took up most of the time. I'm sure there are some goof-ups in there though. But it was time to stop polishing and finally release it to the public. So, without further ado....  Youtube Torrent |

I do need to rewatch this one. It is kinda fun how, despite being possibly one of the least-used characters in the first half, Johnny ended up as pretty much the star of the movie.

I wonder if this movie was originally planned as a TV episode. It seems so bizarre to have Johnny as the main character in the one Maple Town movie made exclusively for the big screen. And it seems to follow up on Johnny's family situation as seen in episode 6.

I just need a movie with English subtitles, and there I'll do the translation.
I have a movie in HD, but no subtitles.
And so I already made Russian subtitles to about the 2nd film. But I uploaded only to my disk.
