(Moved this to general Maple Town discussion. The "Museum" is more for showcasing your own images. ) This carry case was a European exclusive. Bobby's house/the general store (also known as "Log Cabin") was not part of the first "wave" in Europe and seem to have gotten a somewhat limited release compared to the post office and the school. This carry case however was featured more heavily in the earliest inserts and on the back of the boxes, which makes it feel like it was meant to compensate for the initial lack of the actual Bear's store building. I own one of these, but it's not in the greatest condition. This case can make an ok-looking display piece when folded out and with figures and furniture on it. Buuut, I much prefer the full-plastic houses. It's an interesting piece though, and it does look more like a grocery store than a general store, so maybe it has a role to fill after all.

I still have mine! My mum is clearing out her loft and given it back to me. What a great toy it was.
