Hello, I've thought about making a compilation of all existing openings of Maple Town story for us to comment what it seems each one and say which is our favorite. Although many of them share the same Japanese music, some versions are really cool. If any version it's wrong please let me know, so far I have had problems with the version of sweden, I can't find it, if one is wrong, please let me know and I will correct. Greetings to all.

Don't forget this French monstrosity! =D My favorite is by far the original Japanese version. It is just a really nice song that captures the feel of the series perfectly. The Finnish/Swedish opening (they are exactly the same) is what I saw as a child, and it is kind of neat to have an instrumental version of the song, but I still love it so much more with Satoko Yamano's vocals. The Dutch and Hungarian versions sound a bit weird since they use the same intrumental version, but put vocals on top of it, even though there is an extra instrument in it to substitute for the vocals. I guess all foreign dubbing studios were supplied with only this version from Toei. The English theme song is by far my least favorite.

I'm still in serious condition of shock after seeing the French monstrosity . Not whether to laugh or mourn , sometimes I laugh but suddenly begin to mourn, it is terrible! (with all due respect to the French people)

You got to admire their effort though! To produce all that original animation, even if it looks horrible. And the reason it exists is to advertize toys that aren't even related to Maple Town. France did many weird things with the Maple Town characters. Particularly their comics... which I should cover sometime!
