Mme Piquedru, a member at the French Maple/Sylvanian board "Les Petits Malins d'Alice" shared some catalogue scans both for the US Tonka and Bandai Europe Maple Town toylines. The Tonka catalogue is especially intriguing, because it shows a large amount of items that were never produced. If you are into Maple Town toys I highly suggest you take a look:

It's quite astonishing to see the plans Tonka had for their Maple Town line. The families that were sold through JC Penney are included here, the Panda family and "City Rabbit" family, which includes Patty's cousin and grandmother. Bobby was also to have a cousin in the new "Country Bear" family. But the most mind-boggling is the addition of an Elephant family. So incredibly random. Had they been produced they would have been the only non-baby figure molds made especially for the Tonka line.
Lamb Sheep was also to be included, labeled as "Miss Sheep, the nursery teacher", and given a new dress to make her look older, I guess? This would have been the only figure lifted from Palm Town for the US. I guess they figured Palm Town wouldn't work for the American market. Then again, it seemed like at this point Tonka was giving no f*cks about making the toyline match the cartoon.
The European catalgoue is not as interesting, even if it does feature a few items which I am unsure if they were released (The Palm Town version of Patty, and beach/hospital twin sets), and lists English names for all the Palm Town characters. Still very nice to have such a comprehensive guide to what was released in Europe.
I love that after so many years of searching for Maple Town stuff, there are still new cool things to be discovered!
