I hope the picture of rabbits is coming soon. I saw that in America there were pink rabbits available. The below is picture of an old eBay auction from France. Were there grey rabbits too?

Yeah, I should really take a photo of the Rabbit family, since they are the most central. But in the meantime, the scans here show the complete Rabbit family, as released in Japan (US/Euro figures look pretty much the same, except for a few missing details on their outfits): There are six members of the original Rabbit family. The parents are a light brown shade, while the two older daughters (Patty & Ann) are slightly lighter in color, and the the two youngest siblings (Mique and Cosette) are significantly lighter, more like a light cream color. Cosette was not sold in the US, but instead another baby rabbit was sold there whose color is closer to Patty's. No other types of rabbits were sold in Europe. Certainly no gray ones. Figures can get dirty or miscolored however, making them appear so. (especially the children that are lighter in color) In the US there was also the JC Penney exclusive Rabbit Family of five (originally intended to be relatives of Patty), which I have a photo of in the OP. I'd say they are all cream colored, but the father is a more grayish shade, while the mother and the baby triplets lean more towards pinkish. Finally in Japan there were Patty's aunt and uncle, which are white and gray respectively And that's it for Maple Town rabbits. (Well, there is Patty's cousin Rosie and her groom from the euro wedding two-pack, but these two figures are identical to Patty and Ann.)

Interesting Thanks for the explanations Philip. The rabbit looks Maple Town mould to me, but it isn't grey. Pattys uncle has different mould. JC Penney exclusive dad on the other hand would be a rare find in France... maybe the figure is just dirty. What are the names of the rabbit family? I have seen different versions (from big to smallest): Papa, Mama, Rachel, Patty, Ricky and Pippa Rabbit/Lapin Marcel, Christine, Ann, Patty, Mique and Cosette Hope-Rabbit Is another version from another country or something? So this baby was available only in North America. Is she considered as Pippa/Cosette too, or is it nameless?

The latter set of names are the ones that were used for the characters in Japan, both in the toyline and in the cartoon. These names were changed for the English dub and Tonka toyline, so that each character's name begins with the same letter as their species (Rachel Rabbit, Danny Dog etc.), with a few exceptions like Patty & Pippa. These alliterative names also carried over into the European toyline, however many dubs of the cartoon still kept the Japanese names or made up new ones. Technically, she is meant to represent the same character, since the Rabbit family's baby is called "Bunny" in the English dub of the cartoon. But since the figure looks so different, and has a different name in Europe, I personally tend to consider them separate characters.

So Marcel, Christine, Ann, Patty, Mique and Cosette are the original names, and Hope-Rabbit is their last name? Others are tranlations like Finnish dubs had parents and children Anne, Tiina, Ville and Liisa. It makes sense, that Bunny Rabbit isn't the same, when he/she isn't actually on the cartoon. Picture from Florines collection. Is the brown rabbit child a Palm Town figure then?

The one to the right of Rolley? Looks like an off-color Patty to me.

A familiar face, nice to see you Ryusui! What a coincidence, if my mystery findings are just dirty figures xD I suppose Maple Town doesn't have knowoffs made with same/similar mould.

Yup, that would be Patty. She is the only rabbit child made in this height. It makes sense to put her with the Palm Town characters, since Patty is still a main character in the PT cartoon, but the PT version of Patty with a different head mold is very rare (and as far as I know wasn't sold in Europe, even though she is pictured in a catalogue). As far as I know, Maple Town figure molds where never knocked off by anyone, although that might have led to some cool figures if they had.

You never know, maybe MT knock-offs will show up some day Some fakie flocked toy line might be inspired by name, even if it isn't a clear copy. I got these squirrels in a lot. I suppose the peach dress is an original to the daughter? What about the trousers and visor on the adult?

Nice! The trousers and dress are both original to the figures, but the visor is from the accessory set with the post office scooter.

Thanks Philip! I tried to look at the clothes, but didn't see the similar trousers on the squirrel father before. Nice to know about the visor too
